GUIDELINES FOR THE SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT AND PRIVILEGES

The Philippine National Railways is reiterating its commitment in the implementation of the Senior Citizen Fare Discount and other privileges on its commuter as well on long distance service.

A. Fare Discount

A 20% fare discount is granted on long distance (Bicol Express) and commuter passengers (Manila South Commuter and Bicol Commuter Services)

Requirements for availing:

• • • Identification card issued by the Office of the Senior Citizen Affairs (OSCA)
    • Non-transferrable

B. Station Facilities

• New station ramps are compliant with accessibility provisions
• Priority and assistance accorded to senior citizens in securing tickets, use of facilities and boarding/alighting the trains.
• Allocation of boarding space on first coach of commuter trains.
