The Philippine National Railways (PNR) was awarded its ISO 9001:2015 Certification from Certification International Philippines Incorporated (CIP). The event was attended by CIP President Renato Navarrete, Dir. Evangeline Macariola of Development Academy of the Philippines, PNR Chairman of the Board Gen. Roberto Lastimoso, PNR Board Director Jovito Barte, PNR Management and staff. PNR was certified for the following scope of activity: Repair, Rehabilitation, Restoration and Maintenance of Railway System: Train Control and Rolling Stock Maintenance; Station Operation and related services. The certification was granted effective June 14, 2019.
