A stoning incident at the Philippine National Railways Station in Paco, Manila damaged the station's ticket booth and injured a PNR employee in the morning of January 8, 2013.
Based on the report of PNR SG Ireneo Casero, the stoning of the Railway station was perpetrated by a certain individual known as Ramon Ventura, a local resident of Paco, Manila.
Train officials identified the injured PNR employee as Ma. Feliza Franco, a ticket seller of the said station, who was treated for injuries in Sta. Ana Hospital.
Ventura who was with his child at the time of the incident was reportedly irritated after being denied to board the train bound for tutuban after the latter refused to pay for his child's train ticket who was already subject to regular train fees.
According to the sworn testimony of Casero, Ventura even threatened to kill him.
Assisted by PNR's Incident Response Team, SG Casero filed appropriate complaints to the nearest police station for any possible legal action.
